Production Process Analyst

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A is in search of Process Engineering Specialists to enhance assembly operations at our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly Support: Identify and implement improvements to resolve production challenges, enhance process reliability, and optimize product quality while minimizing costs. Utilize expertise in fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment, including work standards and quality control.
  • Quality Standards Modification: Recommend adjustments to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimal quality within equipment capabilities.
  • Design and Adjustments: Create designs for production jigs and fixtures and determine necessary adjustments to processing methods through root cause analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Record and analyze process data using mathematical calculations, providing comprehensive reports on findings.
  • Experiment Design: Develop experiments aimed at troubleshooting and analyzing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems to ensure product quality and process repeatability.
  • Training and Support: Assist and train production personnel and colleagues as needed, including conducting risk management assessments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience with proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Customer Orientation: A commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs, fostering trust and satisfaction.
  • Training Delivery: Capable of delivering training and learning activities tailored to meet diverse learner needs, enhancing overall performance.
  • Lean Manufacturing Expertise: Proficient in utilizing tools and techniques designed to enhance value-added work, eliminate waste, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Information Analysis: Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and reporting information from various resources to derive meaningful insights.

Work Environment: The majority of tasks will be conducted on the production floor assembly lines.
