Center for EcoTechnology (CET) is on the lookout for an experienced and proficient Senior Project Coordinator to oversee a range of residential energy efficiency initiatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that both immediate and long-term objectives are accomplished while adhering to budgetary constraints. Your responsibilities will include crafting and executing strategies that enhance CET's competitive edge, provide exceptional value to our clients, and promote operational efficiencies. Collaboration across CET's organizational structure will be essential to leverage the necessary resources for each initiative.

With nearly five decades of experience, CET has been dedicated to assisting individuals and businesses in conserving energy and minimizing waste. We collaborate with various stakeholders, including municipal and state agencies, utility companies, homeowners, and business proprietors throughout the U.S., to facilitate a fair and equitable transition to a low-carbon economy. The recent advancements in state and federal climate policies have led to a rapid evolution of utility programs, aligning them with carbon reduction objectives. Inspectors and auditors play a vital role in implementing energy-saving measures, making this an exciting time to engage in energy efficiency efforts.

What We Offer

This is a full-time, non-exempt position that allows for remote work. Additionally, CET offers a monthly stipend to assist with home internet and phone expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the setup of projects within CET's financial and project management systems.
  • Participate in and manage the successful execution of each project phase.
  • Develop a strategic plan to achieve project goals while adhering to budget and timeline guidelines, including project scope, resources, communication strategies, and deliverables management.
  • Maintain clear communication with project team members, stakeholders, and relevant organizational departments.
  • Summarize and report on project progress, preparing status updates as necessary.
  • Identify and manage risks through contingency planning and mitigation strategies, ensuring the project remains on course.
  • Continuously assess and refine methods to enhance quality and operational efficiencies, utilizing data analysis to inform recommendations.
  • Manage project costs and propose changes to improve revenue and profitability.
  • Act as the client liaison, communicating expectations and keeping clients informed and engaged.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports as required.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and develop new project opportunities, assisting the business development team with project proposals and budgets.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental budgets and operational strategies.
  • Communicate resource needs to relevant organizational areas to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Monitor progress against contractual deliverables, program goals, KPIs, and budgets, developing client reports as needed.
  • Adjust strategies in response to changes in program requirements, personnel, or methodologies.
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, including competitive programming, evolving policies, and shifting customer needs.
  • Represent CET in planning and program meetings with clients and partners.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in project management, preferably within a matrix structure; or formal project management training with less practical experience.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency and/or utility programs is advantageous, along with a strong commitment to CET's mission.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to establish clear objectives and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to programmatic and personnel changes.
  • A self-motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and organized work approach.
  • Ability to lead by example and inspire team members.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is required; experience with Salesforce is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Must have a remote office setup with reliable high-speed internet. This position may require occasional travel. Daily tasks may include a combination of walking, sitting, standing, and using office equipment.
