Job Summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Gas Operations Manager in our organization. This position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to small commercial and residential developments, ensuring timely installation of new or upgraded utility services, and promoting energy efficiency programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • New Customer Connections: Ensure timely installation of new or upgraded utility services, accurately providing related load and revenue estimates for customers.
  • Corporate Positioning: Develop and implement strategies to achieve corporate objectives with the small account customer base, including customer education and promoting energy efficiency programs.
  • Customer Service: Enforce customer service policies, coordinate installation of new or upgraded utility services, and follow up on reliability or service quality problems.
  • Revenue Cycle: Collect contributions in aid to construction, deposit monies, and customer information necessary to establish a new or upgraded service for strategic account customers.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge of electric and gas distribution systems.
  • Ability to use PC, tablet, and desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Salesforce).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • At least three to five years of gas operations or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. The individual must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required.
