Energy Efficiency Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team at the Center for EcoTechnology. As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping homeowners and businesses reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct energy audits of existing homes and buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities
- Use software to quantify savings and produce reports documenting recommendations, including building electrification opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service during and after the audit, including listening to customers, answering questions, and communicating recommendations
- Ensure that recommendations comply with program requirements for incentives and rebates
- Conduct combustion safety and other diagnostic tests
- Analyze usage data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in energy efficiency, preferably with BPI certification
- Strong math skills and excellent understanding of geometry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with various utility program offerings and analyzing usage patterns
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and modeling software preferred
- Ability to work independently and spend the majority of time in the field, while also collaborating with our Technical and Operations teams
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Excellent benefits, including vacation, holiday, and personal/sick time; medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; and a retirement plan with a company match
- A full-time salaried, exempt position with 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
- Mileage reimbursement at the prevailing IRS mileage rate
- A monthly stipend for home internet and/or phone expenses
