Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team at the Center for EcoTechnology. As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping homeowners and businesses reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct energy audits of existing homes and buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities
  • Use software to quantify savings and produce reports documenting recommendations, including building electrification opportunities
  • Provide excellent customer service during and after the audit, including listening to customers, answering questions, and communicating recommendations
  • Ensure that recommendations comply with program requirements for incentives and rebates
  • Conduct combustion safety and other diagnostic tests
  • Analyze usage data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in energy efficiency, preferably with BPI certification
  • Strong math skills and excellent understanding of geometry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with various utility program offerings and analyzing usage patterns
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and modeling software preferred
  • Ability to work independently and spend the majority of time in the field, while also collaborating with our Technical and Operations teams
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
