Management Recruiters International is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director for Silicone-Based Materials to join their team in the Eastern USA Region.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of technical sales experience in the specialty chemical, specialty materials, or adhesives industry, with a strong preference for a technical degree. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to capture new business and expand existing business at OEM accounts in the Medical/Wound Care Markets, General Industrial Markets, and Electronics Markets.

The Sales Director will sell silicone-based materials on a technical level to design, product development, and assembly engineering departments, and will prospect for new business, creating strategic partnerships and strong business relationships. The territory will be the Eastern USA Region (OH, KY, TN, MS, and East to the Coast).

The Sales Director will manage a new opportunity pipeline and drive sales growth and profitability, communicating effectively with customers and internal management. Forecasting market trends and maintaining CRM data for all customers and prospects is also a key responsibility.

The company offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience, plus a bonus of 20-30% and a car allowance. Excellent benefits are also provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to capture new business and expand existing business at OEM accounts in the Medical/Wound Care Markets, General Industrial Markets, and Electronics Markets.
  • Sell silicone-based materials on a technical level to design, product development, and assembly engineering departments.
  • Prospect for new business, creating strategic partnerships and strong business relationships.
  • Manage a new opportunity pipeline and drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal management.
  • Forecast market trends and maintain CRM data for all customers and prospects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in the specialty chemical, specialty materials, or adhesives industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, with a strong preference for a technical degree.
  • A high level of self-motivation, with excellent prospecting and business development skills, is essential to success.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
