Sales Manager/Business Development Lead

Global specialty materials company seeks a seasoned Sales Manager/Business Development professional to expand their Eastern USA Region team.
This strategic role focuses on developing new business opportunities for the company's silicone-based materials product line.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of technical sales experience in the specialty chemical, specialty materials, or adhesives industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to capture new business and expand existing business at OEM accounts.
- Selling silicone-based materials on a technical level to design, product development, and assembly engineering departments.
- Prospecting for new business, creating strategic partnerships, and building strong business relationships.
- Managing a new opportunity pipeline and driving sales growth and profitability.
- Communicating effectively with customers and internal management.
- Forecasting market trends and maintaining CRM data for all customers and prospects.
Requirements include:
- 5+ years of technical sales experience in the specialty chemical, specialty materials, or adhesives industry.
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field.
- Excellent prospecting and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
Compensation includes a base salary of $120,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience, plus a bonus of 20-30% and a car allowance.
