ROLE: ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
The Superintendent plays a vital role within the project team, tasked with implementing the strategic plan. This includes overseeing, scheduling, and coordinating the construction and upkeep of various structures, facilities, and systems.

WORK APPROACH:
The Superintendent is responsible for orchestrating and scheduling the installation of prefabricated assemblies on projects valued between $10M and $200M. These projects encompass data centers, healthcare facilities, sophisticated government installations, airports, railway systems, and manufacturing plants.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of twelve years in the electrical sector, including at least two years in a supervisory role.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED with over 12 years of relevant experience
  • Master Electrician's License (preferred)
  • Advanced training in a specific discipline or foundational knowledge in two

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster an environment characterized by ethical conduct and motivation
  • Inspire and lead teams and individual members
  • Strengthen the company's rapport with clients by ensuring timely delivery of safe, high-quality projects within budget
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop estimates and integrated project plans
  • Comprehend contracts, scopes, specifications, drawings, and integrated project plans
  • Oversee site logistics in partnership with the Logistics Service Center
  • Manage procurement processes and material releases in alignment with the bill of materials, coordinating with the Procurement Service Center
  • Engage with senior management, supervisory staff, clients, contractors, and design professionals to address and resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction challenges
  • Clarify and interpret plans and contract terms for administrative staff, workers, and clients
  • Organize and direct daily activities according to the project plan
  • Assign workers to construction sites based on the project plan and monitor daily progress
  • Supervise teams and delegate tasks to foremen and electrical technicians
  • Inspect and evaluate projects to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
  • Coordinate efforts with other contractors
  • Deliver quality and safe installations supported by our Safety and Quality Service Centers
  • Regularly monitor work completed against the project plan
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain positive cash flow and profitability
  • Mentor technicians to prepare them for advancement
  • Conduct performance evaluations with foremen and electricians

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is physically demanding, requiring outdoor work in various weather conditions. The role may involve working at heights and in confined spaces, with potential for overtime, weekend, and night shifts.

  • Ability to understand spoken communication
