About the Role

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for estimating, developing, and executing the integrated project plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Develop and execute the integrated project plan, including scheduling and coordinating with project stakeholders.
  • Manage site logistics, procurements, and material releases.
  • Collaborate with senior management, supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations and codes.
  • Coordinate with other contractors and ensure quality and safe installations.
  • Mentor technicians and conduct performance appraisals.
Requirements
  • At least twelve (12) years of experience working in the electrical industry, including two years serving as a foreman.
  • High School / GED with 12+ years of experience.
  • Master electrician's license (preferred).
  • Advanced training in one career discipline or entry-level requirements in two.
Working Conditions and Environment

The position is physically demanding and requires work outdoors in all weather conditions and environments. The incumbent will work in areas accessible by various means, including heights, areas under construction, or restricted areas. The Superintendent may require overtime, weekends, and night shifts.

  • Estimating – Accubid Anywhere and Bluebeam.
  • Modeling – Revit.
  • Production Tracking – Infralink.
  • Scheduling – Primavera P6.
Abilities
  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms.
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
