Financial Operations Specialist at Cooper Holdings, Inc.:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to provide operational and financial support to our subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business operations and accounting principles, with the ability to collaborate with various internal client teams across different areas of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage monthly billing, scheduling, and accounts receivables to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
- Assist in preparing project reconciliation reports and ad-hoc project reporting to provide insights into financial performance
- Oversee contractor budgets, costs, and associated reporting to ensure compliance with company policies
- Process Accounts Payable functions, including auditing, validating, account coding, and payment processing to ensure accurate and efficient financial management
- Review and process purchases and expense reports against client statements to ensure budget adherence and identify areas for cost savings
- Manage the company credit card program, reconciling and auditing all company credit cards to ensure efficient and secure financial transactions
- Monitor and manage Open AP, determining weekly payments and tracking cash flow-related items to ensure timely and accurate financial management
- Maintain A/P files in accordance with company guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient financial record-keeping
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Team and monitor expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and identify areas for cost savings
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in AP, AR, Billing, and financial operations
- Prior experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Continuous improvement attitude and ability to implement best practices
