We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at Solitude Mountain Resort. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression.

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, handling arrivals and departures, and assisting with guest accounting. You will also be responsible for answering inbound and in-house phone calls, booking reservations, and assisting with interdepartmental inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and create a positive first impression for our guests
  • Handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and address any concerns they may have
  • Log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion, assisting when necessary
  • Prepare daily reports, including occupancy, arrival, and departure reports
  • Assist with snow shoveling in the front desk area as needed
  • Maintain lobby coffee service and assist in mailroom operations
  • Perform light housekeeping to keep the lobby and back areas clean
  • Provide bell service and valet assistance to guests as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous guest service experience preferred
  • Commitment to providing the highest level of guest service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and basic accounting skills
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work independently without supervision
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and address issues effectively
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with office suites and the ability to learn new software
  • Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record
