ROLE OVERVIEW

St. Michael's Inc. is on the lookout for qualified candidates for the position of Senior Financial Systems Analyst to provide support to an Intelligence Community (IC) client.

In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting our client with the identification, examination, and rectification of Journal Vouchers (JVs).

Your previous experience in audit readiness and financial systems will be invaluable in this client-facing position.

WORK LOCATION

This position is based at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington D.C., and requires 100% on-site presence.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and CI Polygraph.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal accounting.
  • Familiarity with Proprietary and Budgetary US Standard General Ledger (USSGL) accounts and the Treasury Financial Manual (TFM).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the reversal of all prior month JVs, processing of data from feeder systems, and resolution of all erroneous JVs for posting to the General Ledger (GL).
  • Support and document the month-end closing process, including JV Posting, Trial Balance Reconciliations, and data calls.
  • Assist with audit requests related to financial documentation and Process Cycle Memos (PCMs).
  • Prepare precise daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly JV entries utilizing the appropriate USSGL accounts.
