A Typical Week:
  • Provide financial management support across various branches and departments.
  • Offer guidance and technical assistance in developing annual budgets.
  • Assess organizational performance and analyze the impact of programs and policies on financial plans.
  • Review budget estimates for accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
  • Utilize cost-benefit analysis to evaluate financial requests and explore alternative funding options.
  • Analyze historical budgets and monitor economic trends affecting organizational expenditures.
  • Develop and implement policies for budget formulation and maintenance, including conducting training sessions on new procedures.
  • Oversee financial management across diverse funding sources, tracking budgets and variances.
  • Prepare executive summaries and conduct financial reporting and analysis.
  • Apply financial management principles and techniques to align with organizational goals.
  • Input financial data into approved systems for procurement and obligation.
Qualifications:
  • Secret Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years in budgeting, briefing, and defense at high-level operations.
  • Strong communication and briefing skills at senior leadership levels.
