About the Position:

TJFACT is in search of a Financial Management Analyst to provide expertise in financial operations for a key government program. This role is aligned with a senior-level budget analyst position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leadership to strategize and execute the management of a substantial budget, ensuring accurate accounting, reconciliation, and reporting from financial systems.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to facilitate effective funds control processes across multiple programs.
  • Support the analysis and reporting of program budgets, including the assessment of multi-year appropriations and balances.
  • Advise on the establishment and enforcement of robust internal financial controls related to fund management.
  • Conduct analytical and forecasting activities to oversee resource allocation and fund tracking.
  • Perform administrative and analytical tasks to review and execute budgetary processes, interpreting relevant federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Work alongside senior management and procurement specialists to ensure the efficient use of appropriated funds for various initiatives.
  • Provide financial guidance to personnel in program countries, ensuring compliance with federal requirements.
  • Coordinate with team members to conduct audits and assessments of fund utilization, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining an audit-ready environment through regular self-assessments and proactive issue resolution.
  • Generate customized financial reports and track the status of funds to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure timely submission of all financial documentation to meet compliance standards.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among colleagues.
Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with relevant experience at a senior level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with government financial systems and accounting practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.
