Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Friday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Purpose of Role:

Entech is seeking a dedicated and professional Call Center Representative Part Time to join the team in a call center at an educational institution. This is a PART-TIME contract position, working approximately 19 hours a week. The ideal candidate will handle inbound calls, emails, and web requests, focusing on providing accurate information regarding the Admissions process, Academic Programs, Enrollment, Payments, Registration, and Retention. Exceptional customer service is expected in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service to all students, faculty, and guests.
  2. Manage inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
  3. Engage in live chat interactions via the web chatbot.
  4. Respond to emails promptly using the ticketing system.
  5. Assist students with enrollment steps and registration processes.
  6. Reset student passwords as needed.
  7. Accurately document all participant interactions using the Call Center Tracking system.

Position Requirements:

  1. Experience:
  • At least one year of experience in a high-volume call center environment or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • One year of experience with advanced database systems like Cognos, Datatel, Banner, WebAdvisor, or StudentAdvisor.
Skills:
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, research, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with systems such as My Backpack, Bear Direct eRefund, and My Compass.
Personal Attributes:
  • Excellent phone etiquette and listening skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience using search engines to locate information.
Education:
  • High School diploma, with additional training equivalent to two years of college, technical school, business school, or skilled trade training/certificate.
