Job Summary

The University of California, Davis Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate medical office services, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling patient communications.
  • Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, including data entry, billing, and insurance verification.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office setting, with a focus on patient care and administrative support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
