Position Overview

As a Cybersecurity Project Leadership Manager at Gainwell, you will play a pivotal role in utilizing technology to assist our clients in improving health outcomes for the communities they serve. Below are the key responsibilities associated with this role.

Your Contributions

  • Facilitate the progression of Security initiatives as Gainwell aids clients in achieving superior health and human services results through technological innovation.
  • Oversee one or more extensive project management teams by deconstructing larger technological programs and aiding in project staffing.
  • Lead project planning, monitoring, and supervision of assigned personnel by providing guidance and deadlines to ensure high-quality and timely task completion.
  • Engage with clients, company stakeholders, and project team leaders, measuring and communicating project metrics/status; suggest program modifications as necessary.
  • Develop project timelines, program definitions, budgets, and objectives to guarantee the quality of project outputs across all phases.
  • Proactively manage projects across non-direct reports by swiftly escalating any risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support Gainwell's expansion by preparing detailed Statements of Work (SOW) and assisting with new proposal initiatives and business development efforts.
  • Exhibit a self-motivated attitude, thriving in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
  • 9+ years of experience in managing intricate cybersecurity projects, programs, or initiatives throughout the complete project management lifecycle, with 3 or more years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Catalyst or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum (SCM), and Agile practices.
  • Contemporary understanding of budget formulation, oversight, and assurance techniques, along with project management software.
  • Capability to lead and translate overarching program objectives into clear and attainable project scopes and milestones.
  • Leadership skills to train, guide, and mentor junior team members.
  • Strong executive presentation skills, effectively communicating ideas.
  • Ability to influence and clearly convey project priorities, motivating both direct and indirect networks and stakeholders to take action.
  • Familiarity with Security tools such as Splunk and Saviynt, with proficiency in troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management principles.
  • Knowledge of Network and Firewall concepts.
  • Understanding of System Security Plan reviews, NIST, and MARS-E standards.
  • Foundational knowledge of AWS and MS Azure.
  • Experience in reviewing Business Associate Agreements to ensure compliance.
