The Solutions Architect – Pre-Sales Management role focuses on crafting managed solutions, developing sales proposals, pricing strategies, specifications, and engaging presentations. This position collaborates closely with Sales and Operations teams to identify and position opportunities, ensuring alignment with personal, sales, and organizational objectives. The role involves promoting UDT's vision of Digital Secure Transformation solutions to effectively address customer challenges and align with their strategic IT goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver compelling sales presentations that articulate the value of our solutions and services to potential clients.
  • Conduct thorough discovery processes to assess and prioritize business opportunities.
  • Architect, construct, and price tailored Managed Solutions.
  • Collaborate with the solutions team throughout the product management lifecycle.
  • Stay informed about market trends and technologies, including Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and End User Support Services.
  • Engage with the sales team to understand client needs and provide necessary sales support.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to foster trust and acceptance.
  • Plan modifications to solutions and services to adapt to evolving client demands.
  • Propose innovative and enhanced solutions, demonstrating their value and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate and architect managed solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Exhibit strong technical knowledge in areas such as Compute/Server, Networking, Perimeter technologies, virtualization, and storage.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to diverse audiences.
  • Prepare formal solution quotes, proposals, and contracts.
  • Participate in and deliver webinars for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain demonstration environments.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Service Delivery teams to enhance service and solution offerings.
  • Identify and create new opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of Sales Pipeline information within UDT systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Pre-Sales.
  • Experience in Managed Services, Cybersecurity, and/or Cloud solutions is preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation and organizational abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Technical certifications in relevant areas (Cloud, Security, Managed Services, etc.) are advantageous.
