Required Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of gas and electric systems, including design and construction principles.
  • Strong public relations skills to effectively engage with customers and community stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret industry standards and regulations related to utility design and construction.
  • Experience in managing utility outages and coordinating inspections.
  • Advanced understanding of right-of-way and environmental regulations.
  • Proficient in contract administration and utility line extension policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 7-8 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in project management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in utility design or construction is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid driver's license required.

Work Environment:

This role involves both office and fieldwork, requiring regular site visits and adherence to safety protocols.
