Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our Sustainability Infrastructure Building - Solutions & Technologies business, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects.
  • Resource Allocation: Determine resource levels to attain schedule milestones and monitor workforce levels to ensure conformance with the construction plan.
  • Cost Control: Control project costs, change/scope creep, and ensure that all scope changes are quickly and properly documented and that change orders are approved prior to the performance of work.
  • Safety and Security: Implement site safety and security procedures and project work rules, and play an active role in the development of the safety program.
  • Customer and Subcontractor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and subcontractors to ensure high customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
  • Financial Management: Work to ensure the profitable execution of assigned projects, and ensure that assigned projects are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget, and within scope of the contract.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry, with management experience with projects related to HVAC, Controls/BAS, Lighting, and Renewable Energy systems.
  • Skills: Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems, with strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe/Nitro, Teams, and basic Windows environment.
