As a Philanthropy Donor Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by developing and implementing strategic plans to cultivate, solicit, and steward philanthropic gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement thoughtful and strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for prospective donors.
  • Engage with physicians, nurses, and administrators across multiple service lines to build relationships and identify opportunities for philanthropic support.
  • Manage philanthropic initiatives with a focus on collaboration and best practices.
  • Create buy-in with volunteers, colleagues, and direct care providers by fostering a team-based approach to program and donor engagement.
Requirements:
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • Three years' fundraising experience: Preferred
  • One year's leadership experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
  • Prepare initial drafts of foundation and sponsorship proposals in support of special events fundraising.
  • Participate in standing nursing committees and physician committees to build relationships and increase knowledge of key initiatives.
  • Identify, qualify, cultivate, and solicit a portfolio of Philanthropy Donors and Prospects in collaboration with colleagues and direct care providers.
  • Ensure regular contact with donors and prospects through various activities and communications.
