About the Role

Fiondella, Milone & LaSaracina LLP (FML) is a dynamic and innovative accounting firm that is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Audit Associate to join our team. As a Senior Audit Associate, you will play a key role in providing high-quality audit services to our clients, ensuring that their financial statements are accurate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and auditing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work products and providing excellent client service. You will be responsible for leading audit engagements, developing and implementing audit plans, and ensuring that all audit work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You will be a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional results and contributing to the growth and success of FML.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements and develop and implement audit plans
  • Conduct fieldwork and perform audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Provide high-quality audit work products and reports
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting or auditing
  • Strong background in accounting and auditing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • Experience with audit software and technology
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and regulations
