Key Responsibilities:

As an integral member of the Resident Care Team, you will assist the Resident Care Director in managing the community's health services. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Upholding the mission and core values of LCB Senior Living to residents, families, and colleagues.

2. Engaging positively with potential residents and their families to promote community occupancy.

3. Assessing resident needs and contributing to the development of personalized service plans in compliance with state regulations.

4. Understanding the physiological and psychological changes associated with aging and disabilities.

5. Supervising the daily activities of resident care associates.

6. Evaluating residents' health concerns and collaborating with the Executive Director, families, and medical professionals as necessary.

7. Fostering teamwork through effective communication with all departments to enhance service quality.

8. Monitoring compliance with infection control protocols among care staff.

9. Participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives.

10. Providing direct care to residents as needed.

11. Supporting resident care associates with inquiries and emergency situations.

12. Ensuring adequate staffing and coverage at all times.

13. Completing and reviewing incident reports to improve safety and compliance.

14. Assisting with documentation required by LCB Senior Living and state regulations.

15. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

16. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Must maintain good physical and mental health, with the ability to perform tasks that require dexterity, visual and auditory acuity. The role involves lifting, carrying, and moving objects, as well as standing, walking, and bending as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must possess the professional knowledge and skills to support the planning and execution of resident care in line with state and federal standards. Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, is essential.

2. Education: High school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing program.

3. Experience: Minimum of two years in a geriatric care setting, with prior experience in healthcare environments preferred.

4. Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
