Manpower Engineering is seeking a dedicated Safety Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and compliance of machinery within our client's operations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of one of the following TUV certifications:
    • Functional Safety of Machinery Engineer (FS Eng)
    • Certified Machine Safety Expert (CMSE)
    • Functional Safety Engineer for Machinery Sector (FSeng)
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • In-depth technical expertise in automation and control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in leading machinery safety initiatives and conducting risk assessments related to machine safety.

Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the functional safety of machinery, including the selection, installation, and configuration of protective devices and control systems to safeguard personnel.
  • Knowledge of hazards and risks associated with manufacturing equipment.
  • Advanced proficiency in evaluating safety-related control systems, with familiarity in relevant machinery safety standards (ISO, IEC 62061, ISO 12100).
  • Ability to perform safety system verification and validation effectively.
  • Basic understanding of hazardous energy control and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Fundamental project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
