Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Over 4 years of relevant experience
- In-depth technical expertise in automation and control systems
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Significant experience in leading and engaging in machinery safety assessments and conducting machine safety evaluations (CRUCIAL REQUIREMENT)
- Comprehensive understanding of functional safety concerning machinery, including the selection, installation, and configuration of protective devices and associated control systems designed to safeguard personnel from injuries
- Awareness of the hazards and risks linked to manufacturing equipment

Advanced Knowledge Required:
- Proficient evaluation of safety-related control systems, with familiarity with pertinent machinery safety standards:
  • ISO
  • IEC 62061
  • ISO 12100

- Competence in executing safety system verification and validation
- Basic understanding of hazardous energy control/Lockout-Tagout procedures
- Fundamental project management skills
- Willingness to travel domestically

Additional Certifications:
- Possession of machinery safety certifications is advantageous.
