Job Summary

As an Hourly Supervisor at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., you will be responsible for leading a team of associates in a specific area of the store. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a well-organized and stocked area, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with your team to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their questions and concerns in a timely and effective way.
  • Area Maintenance: Ensure that your area of the store is well-organized, clean, and stocked with merchandise, maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store appearance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate your team of associates, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills.
  • Inventory Management: Use basic math skills to maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that merchandise is properly stocked and rotated to meet customer demand.
  • Event Planning: Prepare and plan for upcoming events that will impact your area, such as sales promotions, product launches, and in-store demonstrations.
