- Facility Improvements: Participate in facility improvements, including painting and cleaning, to enhance the overall work environment.
- Warehouse Operations: Assist with warehouse operations, including organizing and maintaining inventory.
- Quality and Environmental Management: Understand and comply with the fundamental principles associated with the Quality and Environmental Management systems in place at BlueScope Coated Products.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with all levels of employees to resolve problems and achieve company goals.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and perform all duties in a safe manner.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend documents, including policy manuals and safety rules.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform general mathematical calculations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform work instructions and solve problems.
Work Environment:
The employee will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals and extreme temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is considered moderate, and the employee will be required to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when accessing certain manufacturing areas.
