The Manufacturing Support Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization across various departments within our facility. This position requires versatility, as the specialist will be trained in multiple areas to address scheduling needs effectively.

All employees are responsible for minimizing environmental impacts, including the careful handling of hazardous materials and the prevention of spills. Employees must also engage in recycling efforts for materials such as paper, plastics, and cardboard. Good housekeeping practices are essential to prevent environmental hazards.
Qualifications:To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in reading and understanding documents, including safety manuals and operational instructions, is essential. Effective communication skills in both one-on-one and group settings are required.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.
- Other Skills: Candidates may be subject to a substance abuse screening and/or criminal background check. Familiarity with basic and power tools, as well as the ability to work within a diverse team, is important.
This position requires physical presence to perform essential tasks. Employees will frequently need to talk, hear, walk, stand, sit, bend, and lift as part of their duties.
Work Environment:Employees may work in areas with moving machinery and may encounter hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and moderate noise levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain manufacturing areas.
Safety Responsibilities:Prior to commencing work, employees must familiarize themselves with the Job Safety Analysis and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to their position. Adherence to safety training and regulations is mandatory.
