Job Summary

The Area Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within their assigned area. This role will focus on developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company's presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell products, services, and solutions to potential customers through established partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior-level staff and sales associates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure maximum profitability.
  • Attend training and stay up-to-date on sales techniques and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of success in selling new accounts or increasing penetration of existing accounts, preferably in the foodservice industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work in a matrix environment.

Working Conditions

This role requires frequent overnight travel to participate in trainings, meetings, and other company events.
