**Job Summary**

The Director, Business Development – Broadway, is a key member of our Partner Development team, responsible for maintaining and growing new Broadway relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of various ticket systems and the ability to support multiple direct API Integrations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Partnership Development**
    • Pursue and establish new Broadway supplier partnerships
    • Support and maintain existing Broadway supplier partnerships
    • Identify opportunities to create efficiencies with our internal processes
    • Represent the company at industry events
  • **Pricing and Sales Analysis**
    • Negotiate rates and develop pricing strategies for Broadway supplier products
    • Work with various ticketing systems and integrations using API connectivity
    • Maintain market competitive analysis
    • Analyze ticket sales and adjust pricing and sales strategy to meet or exceed goals
    • Build strategic plans to increase partner sales
  • **Marketing**
    • Develop and execute the Broadway marketing strategy with current and prospect partners
    • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams on strategic campaigns
    • Track advertising revenue
    • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • **Support a Team**
    • Support a team responsible for building and executing new products and updates to existing products
    • Troubleshoot integration connectivity with API teams
    • Monitor EBG sites for accuracy and optimization
    • Monitor and track partner agreements and advertising campaigns
    • Manage and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • **Additional Duties**
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Based in New York City or willing to relocate
  • 5+ years of experience in the Theatre or Live Entertainment industry, including creating marketing campaigns and pricing strategies
  • Experience working with various live event ticketing systems and integrations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize findings into recommendations
  • Proven track record of account management
  • Polished written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Ability to work onsite 2 days per week, Tue/Thu
  • Ability to travel on occasion
