Position Overview

The role of a Paralegal is integral to our operations. The ideal candidate will:

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a variety of administrative and legal functions, including:

  • Completing client documentation using Immigration Software.
  • Tracking time and client updates through Practice Management Software.
  • Preparing application packages tailored to specific client needs.
  • Drafting cover letters for attorney review.
  • Creating monthly status updates for clients.
  • Handling client inquiries with professionalism and patience.
  • Leading client consultations to ensure their success.
  • Participating in client meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.
  • Preparing legal briefs and documents for court and USCIS proceedings.
  • Providing interpretation services as necessary to assist clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal capacity.
  • Experience in immigration law is advantageous.
  • Current paralegal certification or licensure in good standing is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with other legal software is a plus.
  • A proven history of client satisfaction and successful case resolutions.
  • Language proficiency: English is required; Spanish is preferred.
