As a key member of our team, you will assist Attorneys in the progression of personal injury and workers' compensation cases from initial intake to resolution. This position involves significant interaction with clients, insurance representatives, healthcare providers, and other legal entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meetings with prospective and existing clients
  • Provide updates and maintain communication regarding case statuses
  • Organize and manage case files effectively
  • Ensure accurate documentation and information is maintained within the Firm's legal case management system
  • Draft and review various legal documents and correspondence
  • Engage with insurance adjusters, medical professionals, and other law firms
  • Request and analyze client medical records and billing statements
  • Collect evidence and documentation to support case development
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings
  • Assist in meeting deadlines by maintaining organized schedules and providing timely reminders

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in personal injury law is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn the Firm's specific legal case management systems
  • Strong writing and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently
  • Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish are preferred but not mandatory
  • A genuine interest in community service and involvement is highly valued
