Position Summary

The Immigration Specialist will be an integral part of the Global Mobility team, dedicated to supporting U.S. employers in addressing their persistent labor shortages by sponsoring foreign workers through the EB-3 Unskilled program. This role involves drafting Labor Certifications for submission to the Department of Labor, maintaining communication with clients regarding their case status, and managing a substantial caseload efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to provide updates on case progress and nurture client relationships, guiding them through the immigration process.
  • Prepare and submit Labor Certifications to the Department of Labor.
  • Compile and maintain audit files for compliance purposes.
  • Respond to audit inquiries from the Department of Labor.
  • Draft and file Prevailing Wage Determinations as required.
  • Revise documentation as necessary following attorney review.
  • Adhere to deadlines and communicate any case-related issues to management or legal counsel.
  • Handle a high-volume caseload while meeting established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure data accuracy and assist with data auditing projects as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with managers, attorneys, and support staff.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include some college or an associate's degree, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in paralegal or immigration fields. Experience with Employment-based Visas or comparable immigration programs is also advantageous.

Work Environment

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
