Position Overview:

We are in search of dedicated and qualified candidates who are Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to join our team as Inpatient Care Physicians.

This role presents a distinctive opportunity to engage in a collaborative healthcare setting, delivering care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and the adjacent 12-bed inpatient unit.

The Inpatient Care Physicians will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the care of patients, particularly those awaiting bed assignments in the inpatient units.


Key Responsibilities:

Patient Management:

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based medical care to patients in the Emergency Department and the inpatient unit. Oversee the care of patients awaiting admission, ensuring prompt assessment, treatment, and coordination.


Collaboration:
Work in close partnership with Emergency Medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Collaborate with the current team of Internal Medicine-trained Hospitalists during the transition phase.

Transition to Emergency Medicine:
Effectively transition from Internal Medicine to Emergency Medicine, participating in ongoing training and educational programs related to emergency practices.

Team Collaboration:
Engage with other healthcare providers, including nursing staff, specialists, and support personnel, to ensure cohesive patient care.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Incentive Structure:
The base salary for this role is $250,000 annually, with additional incentives based on performance metrics and achievement of established goals.

Qualifications:
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Current medical license and appropriate certifications.
