Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at North Central Bronx Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading clinical and educational activities, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on direct clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of geriatric inpatients
  • Lead a multidisciplinary treatment team on a 23-bed acute Geriatric/adult inpatient unit
  • Supervise Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatric PA staff, and Medical Students
  • Participate in clinical care, documentation, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and student supervision
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative integrative care activities
Requirements
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry
  • Completion of an approved Psychiatry residency training program
  • MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine
  • License to practice medicine in the State of NY
