Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative acts as a pivotal link in the sales process, focusing on customer service excellence while generating new sales leads through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the sales process by managing projects, tracking open orders, resolving issues, and providing comprehensive customer support.
  • Identifies new sales opportunities through proactive outreach via phone and email.
  • Determines product pricing by consulting pricing matrices and other complex data sources.
  • Ensures timely delivery of products and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Enhances sales through in-depth product knowledge and effective communication.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and resolves issues in the absence of outside sales representatives.
  • Conducts estimating, take-off, and proposal tasks as required.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated integrity, exceptional customer service skills, and strong communication abilities to enhance sales performance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience in a related industry is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or College Degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with distribution-specific ERP systems.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug tests as required.
