Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative acts as a pivotal link in the sales process, focusing on customer service excellence while generating new sales leads through various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the sales process by managing projects, tracking open orders, resolving issues, and providing comprehensive customer support.
- Identifies new sales opportunities through proactive outreach via phone and email.
- Determines product pricing by consulting pricing matrices and other complex data sources.
- Ensures timely delivery of products and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Enhances sales through in-depth product knowledge and effective communication.
- Addresses customer inquiries and resolves issues in the absence of outside sales representatives.
- Conducts estimating, take-off, and proposal tasks as required.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated integrity, exceptional customer service skills, and strong communication abilities to enhance sales performance.
- A minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience in a related industry is preferred.
- High School Diploma or College Degree is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with distribution-specific ERP systems.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug tests as required.
