Catering Sales Manager/Account Executive

Job Summary:
The Catering Sales Manager/Account Executive will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all internal and external catering events. This includes menu development, costing, and marketing functions related to the catering department. The successful candidate will implement labor cost control and food cost control, manage preparation, transportation, and setup, and oversee operation and clean-up of all events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and grow the catering business
- Manage and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
- Coordinate and execute catering events, including menu planning, logistics, and execution
- Monitor and control labor and food costs to ensure profitability
- Develop and maintain menus, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and revenue growth
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu ideas and concepts
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including sales data, customer information, and event details
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in catering sales and management
- Proven track record of meeting sales goals and growing revenue
- Strong knowledge of current food trends and fine dining points of service
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of A/V equipment and ability to set up and break down for events
