Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat customers in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Present menus and make recommendations to customers.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers at a limited number of tables, using proper etiquette.
  • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
  • Accept payment and operate the cash register.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment, and assist with clearing and resetting tables.
  • May carve meat, fish, or poultry, and prepare flaming dishes and desserts.
  • May carry and distribute supplies and equipment.
  • May assist with stocking food inventory.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all HACCP policies and procedures.
  • Attend all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
  • Attend training programs as designated.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 0 to 1 year related experience.

Skills and Aptitude:

  • Presents self in a highly professional manner to others.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Ability to listen carefully to customers' orders and explain drink and food items.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a team-oriented setting.
