We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host to join our team at Buena Vida - Clarendon. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets and acknowledges guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Manages reservations and ensures accurate information is entered into our database.
- Provides guests with accurate wait times and communicates special events or requests to managers and staff.
- Maintains knowledge of menu items, restaurant promotions, and basic knowledge of the neighborhood.
- Performs opening, closing, and running side work, including cleaning and organization tasks.
- Checks email and voicemail for messages and relays them to management personnel.
- Accommodates special seating requests and ensures guests are never led to an unprepared table.
