About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Manager to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings of significant complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of both hard technical services (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Mechanical) and soft services (landscaping, janitorial, pest control).
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships with executive client leadership, conducting client meetings on unresolved facility issues in an expeditious and professional manner.
  • Communicate to clients regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports.
  • Manage and coach facilities staff to deliver excellent service levels for the client within budget.
  • Research and implement new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and recommend strategic facility management objectives for clients, reviewing various budget reports for multiple facilities.
  • Develop environmental health and safety procedures for facilities, including emergency action plans, disaster recovery, business continuity, and other related procedures.
  • Responsible for facility inspections for quality assurance on a periodic basis, ensuring facility procedures align with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Produce and maintain various facility management reports.
  • Coordinate management of capital projects.
  • Use PC and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS, and training.
  • Prepare and lead departmental budget.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • No less than six years of related experience and/or training.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with focus on business, technical, or management areas. Prior people leadership experience required.
  • Must be experienced in facilities management of manufacturing and hold good mechanical skills and/or knowledge.
  • Client savviness and excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with executive-level clients.
