At Kimbrell's Furniture, we're seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Office Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for communicating directly with customers, resolving their debts, and collecting payments. This role requires a high level of professionalism, customer service, persuasion, and negotiation skills, as well as a mind for problem-solving. You will be responsible for interacting with customers diligently, courteously, and professionally while collecting payments. You must have good knowledge of cash management procedures and best practices, as well as the ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly. You will also be responsible for monitoring accounts to identify outstanding debts, gathering and verifying customers' personal and credit information, and retaining customer loyalty while initiating processes for the collection of payments. Additionally, you will maintain and update records of customers from whom collections are made. To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience in a similar role, be able to work in a team setting, and possess excellent communication skills (written and oral). You must also be bilingual (Spanish) and have weekend and holiday availability.
