We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our team at Franklin Sports, Inc. in Memphis, TN.
Job Summary:The Office Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and supporting all Outbound clerical processes to ensure timely and accurate handling of items. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Interact daily with outbound carriers to coordinate routing and carrier pickup of shipments
- Responsible for assigned incoming customer order preparation, printing, and tracking
- Update and edit pick list information in AS400 and, when applicable, on the customer's website
- Prepare orders by ship date, destination, and purchase order type, evaluating stock issues and grouping orders logically for the Order Picking Department
- Analyze purchase orders to obtain correct routing and book shipments, monitoring all facets of the shipping process
- Batch orders, print picking tickets, print labels, and match with orders
- Responsible for invoicing all outbound shipments and carrier charges
- Must be willing and able to work overtime hours as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One (1) to three (3) years of related experience strongly preferred
- Possesses excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry and validation
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong computer experience, including Excel, Word, and internet usage
- General outbound carrier knowledge of LTL, TL, and small parcel services, including BOL creation
- Understanding of following safety protocols and working in a safe manner
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external parties at all levels
