About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team as a Wholesale Broker. This exciting opportunity will see you develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients with a focus on small to mid-size companies with high revenue.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business plan to drive growth and increase revenue
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, retaining them as clients and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Collaborate with other producers and support personnel to achieve sales goals
  • Manage overall client relationships and provide direction in account transfer situations
  • Assist and educate other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements
  • Apply industry technologies to new sales, additional sales to existing clients, and account service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of related experience or participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP)
  • Appropriate insurance licensing required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience.
