About the Role

CarelonRx Account Manager II

Job Summary:

As a CarelonRx Account Manager II at Elevance Health, you will be responsible for retention and operational excellence that meets/exceeds client service and satisfaction goals for a complex book of business supporting pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate/build relationships with broker/consultant/client key decision makers through quality service.
  • Influence and collaborate with internal partners to deliver best-in-class service including resolving operational issues, root cause analysis, and driving recovery efforts that directly influence account retention and growth.
  • Execute client-specific operational deliverables including benefit set up, reporting, and project support as needed.
  • Leverage data to track account performance and identify trends/opportunities for input/recommendations on client growth and retention strategies.
  • Responsible for operational understanding of all Rx products and solutions.
  • Supports implementation for new/existing clients and contract renewals.
Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in account management, sales, or managing business/client relationships; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Preferred Skills:
  • Proven health insurance plans account management and client retention experience most notably in Pharmacy sales and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, organization, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts towards common goals preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, strong executive presence with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties strongly preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of Salesforce and/or claims operating systems highly preferred.
  • Proficient of Microsoft Office products, most notably in PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word strongly preferred.
