Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Proposal Development Specialist to join our team at Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, coordination, and submittal of complex technical commercial proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in strategic planning, evaluating marketing intelligence, identifying customer concerns, analyzing competitive aspects, developing proposal strategies and themes for win strategies.
  • Draft, write, edit, and proofread proposals to ensure compliance with technical and customer requirements.
  • Develop a comprehensive proposal management plan, including schedule.
  • Schedule and run proposal kick-off meetings; facilitate key review meetings; coordinate document production and delivery of final professional proposals within customer deadlines.
  • Assemble, coordinate, and manage necessary resources to support proposal requirements.
  • Develop a proposal compliance matrix; integrate technical and cost information; meet and fulfill customer requirements through proposal development.
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including sales, engineering, physics teams, finance, legal, product management, and marketing.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, attention to detail, and follow-up.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to absorb and retain technical product knowledge.
  • Sense of urgency, ownership, and commitment to meeting internal and external customer needs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Solid skills in Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
