Job Overview

We are in search of an administrative coordinator for our Medical Services division to oversee our adaptive equipment grants, facilitate services for individuals with disabilities, and ensure precise organization of the related information and documentation.

POSITION TITLE: Medical Administrative Coordinator

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 40 hours/week, non-exempt

SUPERVISOR: Executive Director

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Oversee the administrative aspects of adaptive equipment grants. Handle communications with vendors and case managers. Manage the lending library and conduct follow-ups post-equipment usage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the administrative management of adaptive equipment grants.
  • Provide education or services to consumers and/or families as necessary.
  • Coordinate with vendors and families to arrange for equipment installation.
  • Manage vendor communications regarding adaptive equipment.
  • Complete necessary documentation and billing processes.
  • Maintain communication with case managers concerning consumer requirements and updates.
  • Adhere to all personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and organized working environment.
  • Familiarize oneself with and comply with facility and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma is required. Previous experience in administrative roles is essential. MANDT crisis intervention, CPR certification, and first aid training are required (these trainings can be provided upon hire along with necessary agency training). Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is mandatory. Experience in brain injury rehabilitation or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
