About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle, from identification to mitigation of supply-based risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the identification, management, escalation, and mitigation of supply-based risks throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Partner with other functional groups, such as Legal, Contracts, Pricing, Risk Management, Finance, and others, to ensure compliance with prime contract requirements, operational goals, and business strategy.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of procurement matters, including teaming agreements, subcontract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, and supplier risk.
  • Support the completion of critical procurement tasks, including creating and issuing requests for proposals, evaluating supplier proposals, conducting price analyses, pricing bill of materials, negotiating non-disclosure, teaming, license agreement or terms and conditions, creating small business subcontracting plans, flowing down appropriate prime contract, firm or agency regulations, administering subcontracts, modifications or task orders, while ensuring compliance with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements and Booz Allen policies.
Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook.
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to support Booz Allen's formal proposal process while managing several tasks concurrently.
  • HS diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Ability to negotiate with a wide variety of suppliers.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) a plus.
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business.
