Position Summary:

We are seeking a proficient and driven Order Fulfillment Specialist (Mid) to take on a pivotal role within our organization. This position is integral to managing the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of systems, programs, policies, procedures, and tools that ensure the effective and accountable management of IT assets. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in operational and fulfillment industry practices, demonstrate a customer-centric approach, and exhibit the ability to lead and collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase requests and incoming orders, ensuring product and pricing accuracy.
  • Confirm and follow up on customer orders, maintaining a high level of accuracy in order management.
  • Manage and execute order modifications, ensuring timely delivery to designated locations.
  • Monitor and resolve outstanding vendor and invoicing issues promptly.
  • Address claims issues according to established procedures and initiate internal improvement tasks.
  • Provide essential product knowledge, pricing, and shipping information to customers as required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and government personnel to keep all stakeholders informed of changes that may affect customer service.
  • Develop and implement organization-wide procurement and IT strategies that align with overall goals.
  • Analyze inventory and service levels to ensure consistent order fulfillment while minimizing costs.
  • Manage demand fluctuations, enhance demand-planning processes, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Develop and monitor strategy implementations, focusing on achieving cost savings targets.
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures to govern the procurement and distribution of IT assets.
  • Establish processes for order entry and tracking, ensuring accurate maintenance of customer information.
  • Ensure that agreements, licenses, and warranties are tracked and reviewed for renewal opportunities.
  • Oversee product distribution, including shipping, returns, delivery timelines, and follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in order fulfillment or a related field is required.
  • At least 4 years of specialized experience in operational and fulfillment industry practices is required.
  • Proven ability to manage a team effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication with various stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and implementation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in managing demand fluctuations and enhancing demand-planning processes.
  • Desired Certifications: Comp TIA A+ certification.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $56,400 to $81,500 per year, benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of various experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to role, location, education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
