POSITION SUMMARY:

The General Labor - Meat Processor plays a crucial role in executing all necessary tasks associated with the position accurately, thoroughly, and safely. This includes working across various areas of the cooking segment within the production facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage in multiple tasks within the cooking sector of the production area, including receiving, grinding, batching, mixing, and cooking.
  • Safely manage the unloading and distribution of materials from delivery vehicles to designated locations, ensuring order accuracy.
  • Transfer products from cardboard containers into stainless steel containers.
  • Input raw meat into grinders and monitor production levels.
  • Load meat products and spices into the dumper.
  • Oversee the mixing process.
  • Accurately move containers between designated areas, recording temperatures and weighing products.
  • Operate machinery including stuffers, grinders, and smokehouses safely.
  • Utilize high-pressure washing systems to maintain cleanliness of racks and containers.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean and sanitary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8-9 hours daily).
  • Physical capability to bend, stoop, and squat as required.
  • Must be able to lift weights up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or lower.
  • Experience in a fast-paced packaging environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to work 40 or more hours weekly, including overtime as needed.
