About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Simulation Manager to join our team at Indian River State College. As a key member of our nursing education program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students and the delivery of high-quality educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our simulation laboratory, ensuring its functionality, safety, and alignment with curriculum objectives.
  • Collaborate with faculty to plan, design, and deliver simulation and laboratory activities for students.
  • Ensure technical support of simulation manikins, software, and other equipment in the skills and simulation laboratory.
  • Maintain the simulation and laboratories at all campuses in a clean, neat, organized condition conducive to learning.
  • Participate in division activities, tours, and recruiting events.
  • Prepare and coordinate activities within the simulation and laboratory center.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing school or university.
  • Florida unencumbered Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license.
  • Minimum two (2) years of proven experience in clinical nursing practice in acute care settings.
  • Current/active AHA CPR.
  • Meet and maintain health requirements of health care affiliation agreements.
  • Certified Healthcare Simulation Education or begin the process of obtaining certification.
