Key Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the Healthcare Sales Representative is tasked with promoting and selling medical products and equipment to both existing and potential clients. This role involves:

  • Providing medical gas products, services, and equipment to designated accounts.
  • Representing the company's offerings to new prospects and current customers, highlighting product advantages.
  • Building and nurturing sales relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Identifying and qualifying potential customers and reporting findings to management.
  • Enhancing sales and profit margins by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
  • Acting as a liaison between customers and the company regarding pricing, products, delivery, payments, and inquiries.
  • Supporting fellow sales representatives in developing medical sales within their client base.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints efficiently.
  • Analyzing market data to identify new customer opportunities and formulate sales strategies.
  • Preparing and reviewing sales reports to assess pricing, market conditions, and sales performance.
  • Collaborating with management to devise and implement market plans and sales strategies.
  • Ensuring sales targets are achieved within budgetary constraints while managing expenses.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with management through timely activity and results reporting.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations while performing job duties.

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED); a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing is advantageous.
  • 3+ years of experience in selling medical, specialty, or industrial gases and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of medical gas products and their applications.
  • Proven negotiating and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Google Workspace tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Computers Unlimited (CU) is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with insurance.
  • Knowledge of the local geographical area.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Capability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
